While talking about possible reforms and changes in Burma in the near future when it seems the country will become more open to the world, we should remember that it is a country where human rights have consistently been broken, where different ethnic groups are fighting with government forces and in many cases are being murdered for no reason other than that they don’t agree with government plans.
